When it comes to spirituality and life after death, the majority of believers base mostly everything they believe in on faith alone. You may hear from people when one is skeptical about existing after death: "Have faith" or "believe because it's true". Well, I was once a skeptic. I didn't deny the fact that there may be a higher power or that we didn't exist after death. I wanted to truly believe! However, I was born the type of being that you needed to prove to me that this was true and a fact. If you are like me and are the "prove it" type of person, then you're going to love this blog article because All I give to you are references to what I believe, and why I believe it.

Note: I'm not forcing my beliefs on anyone. I encourage you to look at other theories and evidence on beliefs and doubts before you make a choice. Expand your mind. Knowledge is power. All colored words have been linked to Wikipedia for your convenience of understanding terms.

Consciousness/Spirit is a vast thing to explore. We only know so little about it. What we do know is that the brain affects our consciousness and how it does so. What everyone is debating about is if consciousness survives death. It's just one big debate. But what I believe is that the consciousness indeed does survive after death.

Let's look at the basic storytelling of NDE's or near death experiences. One usually says, they see a light and they go to it. They explain heaven, deceased family members and friends, talking to the creator, etc. Well, this for a person without full knowledge about NDE's can be a great miracle! Well, let's not fall into the gullibility that it's actually an NDE.

Theories

Let's look at a Theory. Many say that the culprit behind NDE's is the natural drug in the body called DMT. Well, This is in fact a decent theory and has been considered a possibility for NDE's.

Another recent discovery is that dopamine is the culprit to mirror the feeling of out of body experiences for people with Parkinson's Disease. In the "Peace of Mind" article I've linked below, the author has mentioned a few mental diseases such as Schizophrenics with Walking Corpse Syndrome usually have the feeling that they are dead. However, this syndrome is incredibly rare.

Now for the scientists mentioning the light at the end of the tunnel." NDEs were more common in patients with higher levels of carbon dioxide on admission to the hospital.The connection with carbon dioxide suggests that NDEs might be associated with changes in the acid-base equilibrium of the brain." says Dr. Gibson of Brainblogger.com. However this was a controlled study only on people surviving cardiac arrest.

My Theory


All of the scientific theories are great explanations of NDE's. But what I believe of these theories is that they only debunk the simulations of NDE's. Such as one felt like they had an NDE, but it wasn't. What these theories fail to debunk is the information one has received in a true NDE. Let me give you examples:

NDE symbolism supports sacred geometry
Groups of dying people can share the same NDE.
The transcendental nature of human consciousness during NDEs corresponds to principles found in quantum physics.

Let's say there were about 2-3 people dying at the same time. If they all had the same NDE, that would debunk the DMT theory because drugs work differently on everyone. What about the Carbon dioxide theory? Well if someone spoke to the deceased in the NDE and once revived and they blur out information about other people or the being they spoke to was correct, which they have never known the being before or never knew the valid information before, how can DMT and Carbon Dioxide do that? Skeptics would say "they are lying". Would everyone person with a true NDE be lying? I could ask about 20 questions about these theories. And what upsets me is that once they debunk possible NDE's on a certain type of people with a certain type of problem, that means EVERYONE's NDE's are false.

Let's all just keep an open mind, expand our knowledge and learn more about life.
