Sheila Shuster
Posted June 3, 2011 by Sheila Shuster in Small Bites
Nothing pulls you more into the present than looking into the eyes of someone who you know has little time to live. If you look from your heart and not your worried thoughts, you can create a peaceful communication that has nothing to do with words. You develop an understanding - a knowing - that has nothing to do with opinions, titles, roles, accomplishments, religions, or differences. All of the things we think matter so much, matter only relatively so. You see that all the things in life are really connected. It is too bad most of us choose to ignore what really matters. The opportunity to look is always here now.

Unfortunately the saying "you don't know what you have until you lose it," is true way too often.

It really is sad when this happens. People over look the good and all it does is breaks us down.
